SIA of NC is a Master Agency which offers support to independent agencies. We provide access to insurance carriers and programs otherwise unavailable to agents that allow our members to compete with any size agency in a variety of personal and commercial markets.

A Day in the Life of a Partner Account Manager

  • Rate a variety of personal lines and small commercial accounts.

  • Research, analyze, and prepare quotes to meet client needs.

  • Enter clientele information into carrier’s rating systems to gather information for client quotes while applying underwriting and agency guidelines.

  • Communicates quote premiums, status of quotes, or additional information requested by carriers to partner agents and/or staff.

  • Follow-up with carriers, partner agents, and/or other staff on quote status for both prospective and current clients.

  • Deliver stellar customer service to both internal and external customers with respect and integrity on a daily basis.

  • Build rapport with clientele, prospects, carriers, and colleagues.

  • Collaborate with partner agents and their staff to provide back-end support.

  • Superior interpersonal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to connect with clientele and carriers.

  • High level of integrity and driven to bring values to others.

  • Effective time management skills, patience, willingness to learn, and be teachable.

  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree in risk management, business administration, or related field.

  • Knowledge of Applied and/or EPIC systems.

  • 1 year of experience working in the insurance field or agency setting.
